French transport GHG information
Factors from France's official method for the greenhouse gas information that transport services must give their customers. The factor depends on the distance and the size of the aircraft.
- Publisher
- French Ministry for Ecological Transition, with ADEME
- Best for
- Reporting that follows French official values
- Result
- One total per trip, for all travellers
- Energy scope
- WTW (energy only)
- Non-CO₂ effects
- Not included
- Factor year
- Not selectable
How it works
- Distance comes from the airports, or from the actual distance where known.
- Factors vary by distance band and aircraft size, in five size bands from under 50 to over 250 seats. The aircraft type, if known, sets the size band.
- The result counts energy only: burning the fuel plus producing and delivering it.
Trip details used
When a detail is missing, SQUAKE uses the default.

| Actual distance | Calculated from the airports | Replaces the airport-based distance. |
| Aircraft size | From the aircraft type, if known | Five bands, from under 50 to over 250 seats. |
| Number of travellers | 1 |
