ADEME emission factor database
Rail and urban transit factors from Base Empreinte, ADEME's official public database for carbon accounting in France. It has detail for French train types, the Paris region, Corsica and city size, and one factor each for 16 other European countries.

How it works
- French options cover TGV, TER, intercity, mainline and RER trains, plus metro, tram and trolleybus.
- For urban transit, the region (Paris region or Corsica) or the city size (above 250,000 inhabitants, or 100,000 to 250,000) refines the factor.
- Outside France, ADEME uses one train factor per country.
- ADEME's rail factors cover producing and using the traction energy.

When a detail is missing, SQUAKE uses the default.
